Exterior Insulation and Finish Systems (EIFS)
Exterior Insulation and Finish Systems (EIFS) are non-load bearing cladding systems designed for exterior walls. They consist of an insulation board—attached to the substrate using adhesive, mechanical fasteners, or both—a reinforced base coat, and a textured protective finish. Today, the most commonly used type is EIFS with Drainage, which is specifically designed to manage moisture. This system allows any water that penetrates the outer surface to drain away before it can reach the wall cavity, enhancing durability and preventing damage.

Stucco
Our stucco systems are fiber-reinforced cement-based assemblies that provide durable, long-lasting finishes for exterior walls. They typically include self-furring galvanized lath, along with zinc or galvanized casing, expansion, and corner beads to ensure structural integrity and flexibility. To help minimize the natural cracking that can occur with stucco, we offer elastomeric finish coats designed to bridge minor movement. Additionally, a variety of high-performance paint finishes can be applied to enhance crack resistance and aesthetic appeal.

Plaster & Historic Plaster Restoration
Our plaster systems typically include a base coat and a finish coat, expertly applied to create a smooth, hard-troweled surface that’s ready for painting. These systems often involve the use of lath and precision-placed casing, corner, and expansion beads to ensure clean lines and durability. We specialize in plaster repair and restoration, including work on gypsum plaster walls, decorative cornices, and historic plaster surfaces.
