Aird, Inc. completed a comprehensive exterior restoration of the Air Rights Center in Bethesda, Maryland, revitalizing the building's façade with a high-performance Exterior Insulation and Finish System (EIFS). The project involved replacing the aging precast concrete exterior with Dryvit’s TerraNeo® finish, formerly known as Triarch Granyte®. This advanced acrylic-based coating features natural aggregates and mica chips, delivering a sophisticated, stone-like appearance with enhanced durability and weather resistance.
The restoration encompassed the entire exterior envelope, including intricate architectural details and challenging elevations. Aird’s skilled team meticulously applied the EIFS to ensure a seamless integration with the building's design, enhancing both its aesthetic appeal and thermal performance.
