In 2019, Robert A. Aird, Inc. executed the EIFS installation for a confidential 150,000-square-foot data center in Ashburn, Virginia. The project featured a two-story tilt-up concrete structure with panels reaching up to 74 feet in height, incorporating intricate formliner and reveal patterns. Aird’s scope involved applying a high-performance exterior insulation and finish system that not only enhanced the building’s thermal efficiency but also complemented the complex architectural detailing. Despite the site's tight constraints and existing utilities, the team delivered a seamless, durable façade that met the stringent aesthetic and performance standards required for mission-critical infrastructure.
