In 2023, Robert A. Aird, Inc. completed the Exterior Insulation and Finish System (EIFS) installation for The Oliver, a 145,000-square-foot mixed-use development at 2711 Georgia Avenue NW in Washington, D.C. Adjacent to Howard University, the project comprises 93 fully furnished apartments designed for graduate students and faculty, along with 40,000 square feet of commercial space leased by the university.
Aird’s EIFS work contributed to the building’s contemporary façade, enhancing energy efficiency and aesthetic appeal. The system was tailored to integrate seamlessly with the structure's concrete podium and wood-framed upper levels, ensuring durability and thermal performance. This installation supports The Oliver's goal of providing a modern, comfortable living environment for its residents.
