In 2018, Robert A. Aird, Inc. installed a StarSilent® acoustical plaster system at the Eaton Hotel in Washington, DC as part of the building’s transformation into a modern, LEED Gold-certified hospitality and mixed-use space.

Our work focused on the screening room, where precise acoustical performance and a seamless aesthetic were required. The StarSilent system was installed to deliver high sound absorption while maintaining a smooth, monolithic finish that aligned with the hotel’s modern design.

Through careful coordination and expert installation, the system enhances sound clarity and user experience within the space without compromising architectural intent.
